Viaposte commits to welcome 4 trainees in social reintegration
Since 2nd March, 4 trainees have been working at the Brive-la-Gaillarde logistics platform as part of a Workplace Training Action Plan (AFEST) for the position of sorting agent.
The AFEST
The AFEST is defined as an educational course enabling a professional objective to be achieved, carried out in a work situation. The objective for the trainees integrated into our platform is to obtain a Certificate of Professional Qualification as a logistics agent.
This action, financed by the New Aquitaine region, is aimed at people who have been distanced from the employment market in order to encourage their reintegration into the world of work.
After being pre-selected by Pôle Emploi and the Mission Locale, the trainees were recruited by the Manufacture à Talents, which is the training organisation responsible for the theoretical part.
The financing of this project allows 12 people to be hosted at the Brive site for 1 month, divided into 3 sessions: in March, June and September.
Training on our Brive-la-Gaillarde platform
6 sorting agents from the platform volunteered to be tutors/trainers for these 12 people, allowing one tutor to be assigned per trainee for the first session.
Theoretical training takes place every Monday and the rest of the week is devoted to practical training on the site's operations.
On 29th March, the 4 trainees from the first session will prepare for the oral exam, which they will present before a jury on 30th March.
This jury will be composed of 3 people :
> 2 professionals appointed by the UIMM (Union des Industries et Métiers de la Métallurgie)
> 1 Viaposte employee, Wilfried DERUY, Operations Manager.
