On 8 December, Viaposte's human resources teams spoke about their interest in employer groups at a round table organised by the government to reduce the use of short contracts and improve the quality of jobs.

Two employees working on the Chelles platform through such a scheme were also able to share their experience.

Alongside Viaposte, other participants included: SNGE, La Poste, Nippon Express, etc. and the presence of Elisabeth Borne, French Minister for Labour, Employment and Integration :

The development of employer groups is essential to fight against short contracts. These structures are still too little used today, even though they make it possible to reduce recruitment difficulties for companies, while improving the quality of the jobs offered,” she explained.

Viaposte is multiplying its employment initiatives. The company is actively involved in groups such as Alliance Emploi, LMGE and GEL for its Ile-de-France sites. For example, 30% of the staff at the Viaposte platform in Chelles are employees of employer groups. This solution provides a degree of flexibility with time-sharing contracts between several companies belonging to the group.

“This meets the occasional need for a few hours of work on certain activities, without penalising the employee, who will benefit from a full-time permanent contract by combining his or her activities.

It is also a way for the employees in the programme to develop their skills and employability through diversity of tasks” explained Christelle Mialon - Viaposte's IDF EST Human Resources Manager.
