Nordispress and the Rossel La Voix group place their trust in Viaposte
Nordispress, part of the Rossel La Voix Group, the heavyweight of the press, called on the road transport organiser of La Poste, Viaposte, and its engineering division to study the feasibility and cost of extending its distribution network. A successful challenge.
The Rossel La Voix Group is the leading French-speaking media group in Belgium and Northern France. Present on all media (paper, television, radio and web), it owns several dozen news brands including "Le Soir" in Belgium and "La Voix du Nord" in France. A heavyweight in the sector, it now "aims to expand its press distribution activities", as Amélie Manca, Operational Director of the Nordispress entity, which markets the home delivery service for titles outside the group, explains.
Their clients include Le Monde, Lagardère and Prisma. "To carry out this mission, we asked Viaposte - a partner who is very familiar with our business of daily deliveries 7 days a week, 365 days a year and with whom we have already worked for several years - to simulate the impact of an increase in our activity on our distribution structure. To understand a project of this magnitude, in a system constrained by late closing times and very early morning deliveries, Nordispress needed "real transport expertise and management tools," continues Amélie Manca. “The study took a few months, and we are very satisfied with the result. We made no mistakes in our choices. The people we spoke to at Viaposte were all of the highest quality, attentive to our needs and keen to fully meet our requirements. We now know our critical delivery size and will be able to increase our distribution under the best conditions.”
