Up to 150 jobs could be created
Viaposte, a subsidiary of La Poste, will open a logistics base in Saint-Barthélémy d'Anjou before the end of July. Up to 150 jobs could be created.
Finally, some good news on the economic front. The subsidiary of the La Poste group, Viaposte, which has 2,500 employees and 31 industrial sites across France, is preparing to open a logistics base in Saint-Barthélémy d'Anjou.
A 12,000 m² logistics warehouse
In a 12,000 m2 building, Viaposte will start its activity before the end of July with around 50 people.
Depending on the activity, the company will be able to have up to 150 additional employees on this site located at the gates of Angers.
The subsidiary of La Poste was already present in the Angevine conurbation in Seiches-sur-le-Loir. It employed about 40 employees there before selling its business to Up Log earlier this year.
