Viaposte, a subsidiary of the La Poste group specialising in logistics and transport, has just taken a 12,479 m² class A warehouse on lease from Proudreed in Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou (49).
This lease will enable Viaposte to set up a new parcel sorting platform in the Western region and thus create up to 150 jobs (permanent and temporary). The transaction was carried out by BNP Paribas Real Estate Nantes, which advised both parties.
A second experience in the region
The subsidiary of La Poste was already present in the Anjou area at Seiches-sur-le-Loir. It employed around forty people there before selling its business to Up Log at the beginning of the year. Viaposte has 2,500 employees and 31 industrial sites across France.
