Let's meet Benjamin, an organisation and methods expert in Viaposte's performance department.
He arrived in September 2019 and is based at the Kremlin Bicêtre head office. He is regularly on the move to the platforms where he works, particularly in Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes in recent months.

Benjamin's work involves setting up optimised processes designed to improve the efficiency of missions within the logistics platforms. Continuous improvement is a permanent objective at Viaposte, and Benjamin is responsible for proposing solutions.

The missions of the organisation and methods expert

The role of the organisation and methods expert changes according to the sector of activity of the company in which he/she works.
Generally speaking, he/she is responsible for regularly monitoring technological developments in his/her field, and may propose changes to improve the methods of employees.
His/her role is varied: advice, information, alert, assistance; he/she may be involved in different parts of the project.
At Viaposte, Benjamin works mainly on projects related to the parcel business and the launch of new logistics platforms. He regularly deals with different departments and contacts within the company, depending on the progress of his projects: management controllers, industrial project managers, team leaders and operations managers.
"Initially, I studied mechanical engineering, but during my studies I learned about logistics and I was attracted to this field," says Benjamin.

What studies should I follow to become an organisation and methods expert ?

The studies to become an organisation and methods expert are generally carried out via an engineering school or a BAC+5.
